A long, long time ago, 2018, A&E Comedy first embarked on a mighty quest with Enter the Dragons, slaying the beast of midlife with fearless buffoonery. Now, destiny calls them once more to the battlefield in their epic sequel: Game of Crones.
Our dauntless fools must don the armour of absurdity and march into the perilous lands of the “third age” – a realm whispered of as society’s invisible wasteland. Here, the nests lie empty, the hot flushes smoulder, and the people ask: is this the end…or a band-new beginning?
What awaits? Treasures of wisdom, reinvention, hilarity – and hopefully a very decent Rioja. Funny, feral and gloriously unapologetic, Game of Crones is a riotous celebration of women in their price – warriors who will not go gentle into bingo night.
