Marketing
We would like your show to have the biggest audience possible. However, please remember, we can only provide marketing assistance for you. It is your responsibility as the hiring company to fully market your show.
For every show, we provide:
● Entry in our season brochure – direct mailing to our mailing list, plus further distribution in public spaces around the Bath area.
● Electronic marketing via our email distribution list.
● Some social network marketing via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Please read on for our marketing requirements and resources.
Print Designs
Please make sure your publicity is well designed and is of high quality. Black and white, and/or grainy photocopied posters and flyers can adversely affect ticket sales as well as the image of The Rondo.
Please also ensure that you do not print your posters/flyers using a home printer (i.e. on normal printer paper), as we may not display them – see above. For advice, please email.
It is essential that you have the permission of the copyright holder for any image that you use.
We can also offer a poster/flyer design service. Please email for details/costs.

Although TicketSource is our Box Office provider, and you will have a TicketSource link for your event, please use rondotheatre.co.uk on all printed material, as it’s much easier for customers to remember and type.
You can, of course, generate a QR code for your TicketSource link.
IMPORTANT: BOOKING FEES ARE PAYABLE ON ALL OUR TICKETS. IF YOU INCLUDE TICKET PRICES ON YOUR PUBLICITY – EITHER POSTERS OR FLYERS – YOU MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING PHRASE:
A booking fee applies to all ticket sales. A further fee is charged for telephone bookings. Details available from rondotheatre.co.uk

Requirements
We will put up a Front of House display as soon as possible in The Rondo, so please ensure that you send your print to us as soon as possible.
We require:
● 15 – 20 A3 posters, in portrait format. Please note that we cannot display posters in landscape format.
● 100 – 300 A5 flyers, in portrait format.
We can also use:
● Photos A4 size (top notch colour photocopies are excellent as they are not glossy).
● Any glowing reviews enlarged for display size. (The source must be included).

N.B Please do not send special or recorded delivery – if we are not here they will get taken back to the post office & it can be 2/3 days before we are able to collect. We recommend using DPD as your delivery company if possible, as we are able to give them an access code for delivery if we are not in the building. Please get in touch if you would like us to give you a code.
Distribution
Unfortunately we cannot distribute flyers for local companies, so if you are local to us please ensure that you distribute your own flyers.
Please make sure all publicity is displayed legally. Any fly posting (display of posters on property without owner’s consent including street furniture) is unlawful and may result in prosecution of your company.)
Social Media
Please ensure that you implement a social media marketing strategy for your show. Performances that have a strong social media presence sell better than those that don’t.
Please tag us at @rondotheatre on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook so that we can share your posts.
Please create a Facebook event and add us (@rondotheatre) as a co-host so that the event reaches our followers.
We are happy to share trailers, video clips, production and publicity shots, so please send them to us via email or WeTransfer. The more information you give us about your show, the better we will be able to support your marketing.
