Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh

This Dublin born fiddler creates a sense of magic and quirky soundscapes, where Irish traditional music meets old-time fiddling and a Scandinavian feel for sound.

 

His years at the Irish Traditional Music Archives immersed the fiddler in old recordings of the Irish folk legends, giving him an in-depth knowledge of the tradition and his vibrant approach recently saw him on Irish television, teaching Jeremy Irons.
