Mark Thomas. Comic, Activist and occasionally changer of laws, is back. 2007 saw him take on Gordon Brown and the laws on demonstrating around Parliament. In 2008 he took on Coca Cola in his book ‘Belching out the Devil’.
2009?
At time of going press Mark had no firm idea of what his new show would be about. But you know the score. He will go off and have some adventures and get into trouble, but live and come back to tell us the tale. His philosophy is best summed up when the following happened outside the Houses of Parliament:
Police Officer: “If you are a comedian why are you trying to take torture equipment into the House of Commons?” Mark: “If you want to do observational comedy you should put yourself in a place worth observing”.
