Ever wanted to know how it all works at The Rondo? Thinking of becoming a volunteer but need to know more first? Come and see for yourself as The Rondo opens its doors for a revealing open day. Come and meet some of the companies who perform here, take a look backstage and have a relaxing drink at the bar. If you have any burning questions about the theatre – here is your chance to ask! The open day is open to anyone of any age. There’s loads to see and do so come along and say hello!
During the day, local composer Lawrence Reed teams up with international sonic installation artist B Yianni to immerse Larkhall in 'sonic events' to mark the festival. An electronic installation will be played live as part of the Rondo Theatre open day and this will culminate at 3.30 with a premiere of '5ways' - a piece for 4 Cellos , electronic backing and electronic treatment.
This will form part of the larger work 'generations 3' where the event and audience reactions will be recorded on video and shown at next year's festival. This process will be repeated for at least 10 years and create a dynamic and enduring record of this sonic event and the reactions it provokes.

Bath’s finest progressive pop trio Port Erin launch their long awaited debut album I’ll Be On The Common after their sublime EP The Deads sold over 1000 copies and received acclaim from critics and fans alike.
The launch marks the start of a national tour. Cerys Brocklehurst’s “impeccably crisp beats”, Jacob Tyghe’s “punchy proto-funk bass” and Reuben Tyghe’s “gentle giant of a voice” combine to create a sound that is set to wow crowds across the country.
The band hail from the depths of the Wiltshire countryside where they grew up together. They still write in the small village of Broughton Gifford, maintaining their dedication to music in the West Country.
With inspiration from the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Buckley, Elbow, Frank Zappa and The Roots Port Erin have mastered a unique sound and earned themselves a dedicated fanbase.
Catch them while you can, these guys are gonna go far…

A rare opportunity for Bath theatre audiences to enjoy one of the great masterpieces of France’s favourite playwright.
The play recounts the ravages inflicted on the peaceful lives of a middle-class household by one of the greatest con-men of all time.
The production is in traditional style and uses a superlative verse translation by Pulitzer Prize winning poet Richard Wilbur, while Molière’s comic genius ensures a feast of sparkling comedy – with a few thought-provoking moments thrown in.

Two men strike up a conversation in a café, and as they journey through fantastical and witty exchanges, it becomes apparent that neither man is as he seems.
Have they crossed paths before? Are their memories real or imaginary? Is each man exposing THE truth or HIS truth?
Gradually, something sinister emerges…
“I’ve cried myself to sleep wondering where you are.”
Nigel Anthony and Christian Rodska have notched up a plethora of superb work on stage, screen and radio.
..nobody who knew him or his wit, intelligence, or indeed his writing would disagree that he could and should have been up there with Beckett and Pinter - Mike Leigh on David Halliwell

Storyteller and singer Jerry grew up in the rich traditions of the Appalachian Mountains. His grandfather Benjamin Harmon was a well known storyteller and passed the tales along to his grandson. Jerry learnt his first note on a homemade banjo fashioned of wood and groundhog, made by his Uncle Gene, about whom Jerry has stories to share.

This Dublin born fiddler creates a sense of magic and quirky soundscapes, where Irish traditional music meets old-time fiddling and a Scandinavian feel for sound.
His years at the Irish Traditional Music Archives immersed the fiddler in old recordings of the Irish folk legends, giving him an in-depth knowledge of the tradition and his vibrant approach recently saw him on Irish television, teaching Jeremy Irons.
