American-born James Lambeth is rapidly establishing himself as an up and coming singer of swing jazz. Lambeth's silky vocal technique promises an afternoon of 30's sophistication, featuring the very best of George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Duke Ellington and many other legendary American songwriters. James will be joined by Joe Spibey on double bass and Terry Veale on guitar. The Rondo Theatre Afternoon Concerts provide live music and entertainment on various afternoons throughout the year. Federico Garcia Lorca, murdered during the Spanish Civil War, is the most beloved and influential of all modern Poets. His reputation puts him as one of the greatest writers of the 20th century. Passionate, urgent, haunting and evocative, Lorca also wrote dramatic, modernist plays, many of which have been performed worldwide. The Poems will be mostly be sung in English with some verses in Spanish.
