A light-hearted look at Albert Einstein's life and work in the form of an entertaining 'lecture' by the clone of the great man. Set in the famous professor's study, the audience will discover the mystery of Albert's stolen brain, his secret love child, daring escape from the Nazis and how the riddle of the universe was solved by an unknown office clerk on the back of an envelope! During the show you will be introduced to Albert's amazing theories, learn about his life, get a chance to ask him questions and even win a prize in a raffle! It's fun, funny and all true! While the both shows are suitable for audiences aged 9+ the matinee performance will be aimed specifically at a younger/school age audience while the evening show will be more suitable for an adult audience. “splendid... top marks” - edfringe.com |

A brand new show from the internationally acclaimed Bristol-based puppet company, Pickled Image. On top of a towering pile of luggage an old man waits and remembers. One time apprentice to the great Houdini, our hero's memories blur and change like dust in a breeze, and a macabre and beautiful carnival begin. Houdini's Suitcase is a stunning piece of visual theatre that fuses live performance, extraordinary puppets and a haunting soundtrack. Skilled, poignant and wonderfully funny this is a sensory feast for audiences 12+. “A visual and dramatic treat. Not to be missed.” - Brid Conneely, British Council, Denmark. |

It's never too late to find someone to grow old with. She is enigmatic and eccentric. She is clearly no ordinary patient in the sanatorium; she dances in the moonlight, sings at dawn and recites poetry on demand. He is her doctor; a prickly, reserved man, exasperated yet intrigued by her sparkle and charm. As romance blossoms, their moving stories are gradually revealed. A touching story with humour and delicate observation. Directed by Andy Burden. |
