Tales of Britain is an all-new campaign to revive the story treasury of Scotland, Wales, England and the Isles, for the 21st century. It’s a road-map of fun, thrilling tales, with tourist guides to every legendary location, and anarchic retellings designed for story-lovers of all ages!
Brother Bernard (author and Blackadder historian Jem Roberts) and Sister Sal (actor Kate Harbour, Bob the Builder, Shaun the Sheep) bring these stories to the stage in a special hour of rambunctious tale-telling, featuring giant heads, free sweets, and disgusting pies! Aimed at every conceivable age, Tales of Britain is the entertaining celebration of British storytelling that we need now more than ever.
Currently funding on Unbound, published by the team who co-created QI, Tales of Britain aims to do for our folklore what QI does for facts – bringing them under one roof in an exciting, funny but authoritative way. Visit TalesofBritain to learn more about how you can help our national story treasury to come to life for a new generation!
Please note that a theatre restoration levy of £1 per ticket applies to all transactions, whether made in person at our Box Office, by post or by phone, for all payment types. Telephone bookings incur an additional £1.50 booking fee per transaction.
